Sudha & Pramanik’s Engagement Session in Los Angeles by PhotosMadeEz

Hello from PhotosMadeEz, Where we Capture Smiles, One shot at a time.
Is there anything called Destination Photoshoot or Destination Engagement Session? After doing a “destination Engagement Session” for Ingris and Sanjeet in Miami, Sudha and Pramanik’s engagement shoot took PhotosMadeEz to Los Angeles. We travelled from the cold east coast to the sunny warm west coast, to photograph Sudha and Pramanik’s Preshoot with California as the backdrop. Since the Wedding is at the Leonards Palazzo in New York, it covered both home grounds for the future bride and groom – while Sudha is from California, Pramanik is from New York.
When we landed in Los Angeles at 1:30am PST, we heard that there was an earthquake there. In spite of everything Sudha and Pramanik were gracious enough to receive us at the airport at that hour!!! Over the next few days apparently there were multiple earthquakes. That didnt deter us from traveling to observatories, museum, horse ranch, canyon, beach etc etc etc. Phew!!!! Kuddos to Sudha for planning this out so well.
The engagement session started off at the Griffith Park Observatory. Pramanik in his white shirt and Sudha in her blue jumper looked absolutely perfect. The famous Hollywood sign stood like a silent admirer behind them. This was the perfect blend of Hollywood and Bollywood… meeting point of the two different cultures. The next stop was the Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. Sudha wore a lovely mermaid style, long pink dress, and Pramanik wore a contrasting blue shirt. One of my all time favorite photos will be of Sudha blowing a kiss to Pramanik and him pumping his fist!!!! Kodak moment indeed.
PhotosMadeEz moved to downtown LA for the next location. Now Sudha oudid her previous looks.. A very very sophisticated Indian look. Sudha in a gorgeous red saree, and Pramanik wore a black suit with a matching red tie looked like models. The Rain Fountain provided a luminous, shimmering background for the lovely couple. Our post-sunset shoot was at LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The stunning, vintage-style lamp posts outside added a wow quotient to our photos… and our shoot continued almost till midnight!
Next day the mood started with cool and swanky, as Pramanik and Sudha mounted a motorcycle, dressed in a leather jacket and skinny jeans. From there we traveled to the Genesis Ranch where the owners opened their house and ranch to us for the photo shoot. Did Pramanik look like a cowboy? You decide. As much as I love Sudha’s ring didn’t want to take a photo of the ring alone. Keeping with the theme we put the gorgeous Engagement Ring on a horse shoe. The result was awesome.. The next location was the Vasquez Rocks for some more enticing engagement photos. Sudha in a green saree and Pramanik with his music brought life to the rocks. Last destination for PhotosMadeEz was the Venice Beach – with its beautiful graffiti an extremely camera-friendly location. Unfortunately it was very windy there, and we could not spend as much time as we would have liked to. Before leaving we made sure we caught the love birds in front of the striking sunset! This gave us a chance to shoot some really charming silhouettes. The night ended back with spicy Thai food and a flight back to New Jersey. What a wonderful experience for PhotosMadeEz to do an E-Session in California. Thank you to Sudha and Pramanik from the bottom of our hearts for your hospitality. Now can’t wait to do the wedding.
Enjoy the photos.
